When someone says something negative about me, it can certainly hurt. I know I don’t always put my best self out there so maybe I deserved it. However, I learned, through a very hurtful and negative experience, that it is not others opinions about me that give me value. It is the love of God.

I learned and I tell others often, that YOU are wonderfully and beautifully made by a God who created you. Only God has the right to give you value and He sees you whole, complete, and as His child!

It’s a game changer when you know God is who gives you value and that you belong to Him. I even remind myself that Jesus is my best friend and He is the creator of the universe! Whose gonna mess with me when I have the Holy Trinity in my corner! I belong to God!!!
