Would you recognize Jesus if He walked up to you?

I want to say I would, but I know there are times when I’m blinded by my own agenda.

I know there are times, for example, at a music concert or other crowded venue, I’ll duck my head down and try to cut through the crowd trying to avoid any and all eye contact.

I could have walked past Jesus hundreds of thousands of times in my lifetime.

The fact I could walk past Jesus and not recognize him, helps me to identify the meaning of humility.

Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the World, the King of Kings, but instead of standing out, Jesus blends in.

It’s not that He doesn’t want to be noticed, but He wants you and I to seek Him.

My Grandparents had a little ‘Where’s Waldo Puzzle” and would look and look for the little Waldo figurine among all the other moving pieces.

I don’t think Jesus wants it to be THAT hard to find him, rather I give at least the same or more energy I put into the puzzle to look for Him.

And actually, if you believe like I do that Jesus lives in you and me, and that God made each of us in His image, then, shouldn’t EVERY SINGLE PERSON you see today be Jesus?

When you take this belief to the next level, then you can look at each person as the ‘Where’s Waldo Puzzle’ and search for Jesus in them.

Perhaps you’ll get good enough at it that you recognize Jesus right away in each and every person you meet!
