Strength
When I create these pictures or what I call “script-pics”, I just let the scripture speak to me and I try to create an image that says what I hear. When I picked this picture, I was thinking about how God puts people in our lives to help give us strength. Our parents, siblings, etc. are the people whom we go through all of life’s hardest and most beautiful moments.
I didn’t know at the time that my family would be facing one of those hard times. My mother-in-law is under hospice care, nearing the final stages of her life. It requires us to lean on one another for strength and call on God for the same.
This image is particularly fitting as my husband and his younger sister have been and will continue to be strength for one another. The sibling bond in moments like this are extremely necessary. I know it’s not National Sibling Day but I encourage you to check in with your siblings today, just a simple hello or maybe a reconciliation, just anything to let them know you are there. Remember, God gives us one another to lean on, lets be strength for one another!
