I am sitting outside a local coffee shop taking time out to enjoy one of lives simple pleasures: TIME FOR ME! This is a day I have longed for, dreamed about and now don’t really know what to do with it.

It’s a little crazy (for lack of a better word) in our lives right now. We are unsettled. I haven’t started back to work full-time but begin today (I’m really jumping into work as you can tell). I have turned in resume’s, interviewed and inquired about part-time jobs to add more to our finances.

Ron is working at his construction gig but he is often physically and mentally tired at the end of the day; actually his work day never really ends. He resents me sometimes for having paid vacation with my full time job and sick time. He works long hours, nights, weekends and he has little left when he comes home. He has also been spending time looking for open positions and even had a couple of interviews.

Right now we are simply taking each day as it comes because he doesn’t have any big paychecks coming in on any jobs he’s currently running and we have bills due! Worried? A little which is why we are both on the hunt for something but we trust God. We know God will provide and we just need to keep our faith that there is a plan. Until then, we smile, we love and we enjoy life’s simple pleasures!
