I wear my faith on my sleeve and I strive to live a life of integrity and intention. I am a joy-seeker, an off-road enthusiast and scripture lover.
“Triduum” - Personal Reflection
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary says relevant means “having significant and demonstrable bearing on the matter at hand.”
The matter at hand is how I live my life and I’ve found that the scriptures have had a significant impact on the way I see the world, how I interact with people and how I see myself in it all. I believe the bible is the source of life and it has been a guide for as long as I remember.
I’ve learned to be present in each moment, to seek joy in all things and to find my purpose through the scripture!
Scripture Reflections follow the Catholic Church’s Liturgical Year and all readings are from the weekly Sunday Scriptures. In addition to the First Reading, Psalm, Second Reading and Gospel there are Prayer Reflections written specifically for these readings.
For personal reflection, join the blog page at www.weeklyscripturejournal.com and receive a weekly email with prayers, journal questions and a challenge relevant to the Sunday scriptures. A journal is a great way to reflect on the scriptures and make them personal!
