Descendants

The Movie/Book, The DaVinci Code came out years ago.

Dan Brown, author of the book and Ron Howard, producer of the movie, never said this was a story based on real events…yet many people couldn’t separate the facts from fiction.

In the story, the characters are in pursuit of finding the ‘true’ descendant of Jesus.

The definition of ‘true’ is a blood line that goes back directly to Jesus, whom they say had a child or children with Mary Magdalene.

ARENT WE ALL IN THE BLOOD LINE WITH JESUS?

I mean, while Jesus walked on the earth as a human being, there is debate on whether he was fully human.  But that doesn’t deter the fact that he was created by the same God who created you and me.

It also doesn’t deter the fact that as a human, Jesus is our brother, which is family.

To me, we are all God’s children, therefore direct descendants of the promises of Christ, for which Jesus died for us to have, including forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

Religious doctrine is religious doctrine.  Stories of fiction are for entertainment in Hollywood.
