Receive a Blessing

Here is a gift…though it might just confirm how much I geek out on scripture! :-)

So when I reflect on the readings each week, I let words or phrases jump at me and then I highlight them to create an image to share the story. This week’s readings actually tell a beautiful story when I put together the phrases I highlighted from the first reading, the psalm, the second reading and the gospel. Together they say…

“Ask the Lord for a sign” (1st reading) - “He shall receive a blessing from the Lord” (Psalm) - “who are called to belong to Jesus” (2nd reading) “to fulfill what the Lord has said” (Gospel)

This was NOT done intentionally, rather I realized it later while I was creating the pictures. It blew me away how they told a story!
