Shout it out! Jesus has risen from the dead! It is time to celebrate!

Springtime is when everything starts to come back from the winter death. It’s when the grass and trees turn green. There are some plants that come back to life with vibrant colors such as yellow, pink and purple to severely contrast the dull grey and white of winter. Flowers such as tulips and daffodils pop up, it seems from no where to indicate the beginning of a new season.

The earth is shouting for JOY!

The scriptures for the Easter Season give us much to celebrate too. We get to hear stories of the first Christians and how they came together, filled with the Holy Spirit, sharing the Good News of Jesus’ resurrection. These were exciting times and still are exciting times! Our mission and calling is no different than what was first given to the disciples gathered who saw Jesus after he was crucified.

Jesus defeated death, he won the victory for us! This is worth shouting about!
